Are you underestimate powerful sri lankan cricket team?

hey hey! i saw something wrong in someone's answer.it says sri lanka won 1996 semifinal match between india & sri lanka because of the indian crowed who act in wrong way.but tell me how can india win that match when they are lost 8 wickets for 124.they have no batsmen left,only bowlers,please don't underestimate sri lankan cricket team like that.
