When is the Green Lantern movie coming out?

Okay Batman is coming this year and so is Iron Man. They both look great but when is Green Lantern coming out? It should start with the Hal Jordan char. and in sequels should work it way through the current Green Lantern, John Stewart. Who do you think should star in it? What do you think? Thanks!
