What is so great about "name brands"?

I agree completely. And caring about fashion has nothing to do with buying expensive clothes. It's all a mental thing. People are getting the image off of shows like The Hills or Laguna Beach, that you have to wear clothes like that in order to be cool. And you don't. You can find some really nice clothes at places that are the exact same thing that are at A&E and crap like that. I feel that if people have to shop at places like that in order to feel cool the problem is with themselves and not where the clothing is being bought. You can find cute things anywhere, if you look. And if you have confidence in what you are wearing, then that makes the outfit even greater. It is always hard for me to justify spending $80 on a shirt, when for that price I can go to a Yankees game for an afternoon and get food, and even a gift. Or put it towards something else. I was told once that if you are showing it, you are offering to share it.
