Have you ever made a decent wine or cider with baking yeast?

I'm don't mean something that the people at "The Wine Enthusiast" would like. I'm talking about a good old fashioned jug wine. Something that the less sophisticated man can make and enjoy right in his own home. I'm looking for those with experience. If you have done this with success please leave specifics (temperature, etc) or maybe even a recipe.
