Exhaust leak possible underneath car?

its a audi1.8 turbo 4 cyl a4, noticed the exhaust was making a louder sound like coming out underneath the middle of the car, ( air escaping) no warning lights , no check engine light on so probaly not the cat convert right?, but power is a little weak, just wondering what part that it is of the exhaust and how much it is to fix it thanks.
