Ladies ( or guys) do you find this romantic, would you be pleased?

Ok, so my girlfriend and I have been going out for over a year, but have recently had to switch to a long distance relationship because she was forced to move back to the United Kingdom, obviously flights are exspensive, so we don't see each other much and I'm in my last year of University so I'm pretty poor haha. Anyhow, I get a month off for Christmas so we already planned it that I'm flying out there. Well, I also get a week off for Thanksgiving and I went on priceline and all these student discount sites and found a good deal out there for a five day stay there in November. So my plan is to not tell her at all that I'm coming there in November too, and just show up on her doorstep at a time where I know she'll be home, and give her the ultimate surprise. I know her routine solid and as I lived where she lives for a year I have a ton of friends I can stay with or hang out with if something goes wrong. Still, do you think she'd like that? Would you like it if your bf/gf did that?
